On week one of the year 5/6 boys football league the team managed to stay unbeaten on winning every game. Here are the results.
- Danesholme 2-0 Gretton
- St Brendans 0-2 Danesholme
- St Patricks 0-3 Danesholme
- St Patricks A 0-1 Danesholme
With goals coming from Nigel Masina, Archie Mitchell and Josh Parkin.
On week two of the Year 5/6 Boys football league the team drew 1-1 with Woodnewton and beat OLWS 1-0 on Monday with Archie Mitchell scoring the goals.

On week three of the Year 5/6 Boys football league, the team managed a 2-0 win over Gretton with goals coming from Ryan Martindale and a rocket from Archie Mitchell.
In the second game the boys played out a hard fought 0-0 draw with St Brendans. Following on from this the boys got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win over St Patricks B, Nigel Masina, Archie Mitchell and Daniel Logue getting on the scoresheet.
In the final game of the night the boys produced a professional performance to beat St Patricks A 3-0 with goals coming from Eden Morris, Daniel Logue and Ryan Martindale.
On week four of the Year5/6 Boys football league the team managed a narrown 1-0 win over Woodnewton with Archie Mitchell tapping the ball after a goal mouth scramble. In the final game Danesholme produced some excellent football all over the pitch winning 1-0 over OWLS, Nigel Masina taking his goal tally to 7 for the season.
Overall an excellent four weeks for the boys going unbeaten winning ten games, drawing two and conceeding one goal in thre process!

Congratulations to the football team for winning Finals night and becoming the U11 Champions!
The boys did really well beating Woodnewton on penalties after a 0-0 draw in a tense game, moving onto the final against St Brendans. Going 1-0 down initially, Nigel Masina struck back instantly to bring Danesholme back on level terms before super sub Ethan Cook hit a long range effort which crept in past the goalkeeper to give Danesholme a 2-1 win.
On Monday 22nd January the Year5/6 Boys football team went to Kingswood secondary school for the County finals. They managed to play really well making the Northamptonshire County Final, after beating Havelock 4-3 on penalties. The boys made it through to the final against St James's school and played really well in the final losing 1-0 with the last kick of the game.
