Danesholme Junior Academy

Personal, Social & Health Education

At Danesholme Academies, our PSHE curriculum is designed so that every child will 'Be Ready':

Ready to Learn — We provide an engaging, knowledge-rich PSHE curriculum that ignites curiosity and builds firm foundations for personal growth. We nurture children’s readiness to explore, question, and develop the skills they need to make informed, healthy, and safe choices.

Ready for Life — Our PSHE learning goes beyond academic success: we equip children with resilience, confidence, and self-awareness, preparing them to navigate relationships, manage emotions, and embrace the challenges and opportunities of life.

Ready to Contribute — We foster a strong sense of community, respect, and kindness through PSHE. Children learn to value diversity, collaborate effectively, and contribute positively to their school, neighbourhood, and the wider world.

Ready to Succeed — Through high expectations and progressive PSHE learning, every child is empowered to develop essential life skills, understand their responsibilities, and be ready for the next stage of their education and future aspirations.
