Roald Dahl Day
Wednesday 13th September was the 12th annual National Roald Dahl day, celebrating the works of this popular children's author.
Roald Dahl Day was a huge success this year. The children and staff all dressed up as their favourite characters from Dahl's various books and stories, and donating £1 to charity. The children had lots of fun, Year 4 made Dream Jars and Year 4 made Mr Twit's beard (yuk).
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity helps to make life better for seriously ill children in the UK.
Our Roald Dahl Nurses provide support to children with serious illnesses, and their families.
This year we were able to donate £180 to the Roald Dahl Foundation and a further £30 was raised at the 2nd hand Book Sale for the library.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved for helping us reach this fantastic target.
