Yr 3 & Yr 4 Dungeons & Dragons Club
Those pupils who have been successful in securing a place in Dungeons & Dragons club (starting 7th June 2022) with Miss Gilchrist have been sent text/emails this afternoon.
We had a high number of interest in this club.
Unfortunately, if you did not receive a text/email you were not successful this time. Thank you 🐲
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
On Thursday 26th May, Danesholme Junior Academy will be celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee. We have planned an exciting, fun filled day for all the children in the academy. Children can wear red, white and blue instead of uniform.
As part of our special day, we are carrying out several competitions. There is an art competition for each year group to do at home, where the winning design will be sent to Buckingham Palace.
There will be a bake off held after lunch, for which we are asking children to bake a jubilee cake(s) at home and bring it in. The cakes will be judged, and the winner will get a baking book to take home with them.
In the afternoon, we will be having a whole school picnic on the field, where children can enjoy their cakes. Please send your child with an extra drink for the picnic and another snack (if you would like to).
Yours sincerely.
Miss Woolley and Miss Watson
